📖 FOUNDERS DAY — SPECIAL READING

Based on the Universal Rainbow Faith Founding Declaration (February 2, 2025)

Beloveds,

Today we stand on holy ground — not simply because we gather in worship, but because we are living in history.

On February 2, 2025, Universal Rainbow Faith was formally established as a spiritual movement dedicated to the sacred recognition of identity, love, self-expression, and liberation.

This faith was founded on the understanding that:

  • gender, love, and identity are sacred and divine, not accidental or secondary — but spiritual truths that reveal the heart of our connection to the Divine;

  • every person — especially those who have been marginalized — is entitled to affirmation, protection, and spiritual belonging;

  • we are called to be a global community rooted in love, inclusivity, and divine truth;

  • our mission is to uphold the dignity of all LGBTQIA+ souls and allies, and to provide sacred rituals, legal protections, and spiritual home for those who seek faith and refuge.

On that sacred day, the Founding Declaration was signed — not as a mere statement, but as a covenant of love and spiritual purpose. It marked Universal Rainbow Faith’s commitment to:

  • affirm and protect every soul,

  • offer sacred rites and ceremonies,

  • establish a faith grounded in radical inclusivity and divine identity,

  • and build a faith community that stands openly against fear, exclusion, and erasure.

We also celebrate something deeply personal and holy in that foundation — the recognition of Ella (they/them) — whose journey of affirmation embodies the very spirit of this faith. From that moment forward, February 2nd became not only a historical milestone, but a Holy Day of Sacred Affirmation — a day to honor personal and collective emergence into divine identity.

Beloveds, this declaration is not something locked in the past. It is living, breathing, and calling us forward — inviting us to embody the love, courage, and truth that first gave birth to this faith.

And so today, as we gather on Founders Day, we affirm again:

That every body is sacred. That every identity is divine. That love — lived, spoken, and shared — is the foundation of our faith. That here, all belong. And that the rainbow of divine expression will always shine through those who refuse to be erased.

And so it is. Amen.
