The Nature of Miracles: A Spiritual Awakening for Our Time
By Reverend Paula Josephine Sadler

“You are love divine, you are wisdom infinite, and you are spirit eternal.” — The Nature of Miracles, p. 60
In a world marked by chaos, division, and despair, The Nature of Miracles emerges as a luminous reminder of the sacred thread connecting all living things. Originally received as a divine vision in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 tragedy—a moment etched in the collective grief of humanity—the inspiration for this book arrived not by chance, but as a spiritual intervention. Guided by dreams and channeled messages, I began recording the inner dialogue and affirmations that became a lifeline to healing and hope.

A Message Born from Tragedy
The timing of The Nature of Miracles is no coincidence. Just as the world trembled in the wake of 9/11, a numerological alignment emerged: 9+1+1 = 11, a master number signifying spiritual awakening and illumination. The book’s early writings date back to this powerful time of global trauma and spiritual vulnerability. On August 18, 2002, during a moment of profound surrender and crisis, I experienced a miraculous transformation and entered into 12-step recovery. This shift was not just personal—it was prophetic.
Now, in the wake of new global conflict, culture wars, and an assault on personal freedom and LGBTQIA+ dignity, the message of miracles has returned again.

A Book Meant for Now
The re-release of The Nature of Miracles in Kindle format during October and November 2024 was not just a republishing—it was a reawakening. It arrived during a moment of immense spiritual and political crisis, both in the United States and globally. With conflicts escalating, freedoms under siege, and humanity longing for a deeper truth, the message of miracles as natural and divine law became more relevant than ever.
Proof of the Divine in a Scientific World
One of the most profound affirmations of divine reality appears on page 131, where I write:
“I have perceived and received miracles this year... At first, I was in awe, but I now accept these gifts as natural outpourings from the divine.”

This statement reflects not just one event, but a lifestyle of miracle-mindedness—where spiritual alignment opens the door to seemingly impossible outcomes. From healing trauma and receiving direct guidance to unexpected provisions like a rent reduction from $900 to $130 (p. 347), these experiences reveal that divine intelligence is active in our everyday lives.
Channeled Guidance from Jesus for Christians and All People
On page 114, a channeled message attributed to Jesus speaks directly to people of faith and all seekers:
“Dear brothers and sisters I have not come to judge you or to convert or change you to become Christians. I am here as a witness for God to witness the growth of the whole of mankind. I give to you milk and honey and bread of life. These teachings you have so longed to understand are now at hand and available for all faiths. The lesson is love.”
This message breaks the barriers of religion and affirms Jesus as a universal teacher and guide—not bound by dogma but rooted in love.

Special Translated Message from Spirit
Another beautiful revelation comes on page 60, in a translated visualization:
“You are a beacon of light of God’s love… You are being brought closer and closer to the kingdom of God and the heavens. Your life has new meaning, and you have a brighter more hopeful vision of the future… You are love divine, you are wisdom infinite, and you are spirit eternal.”

And one of the sacred translations of the ancient language of Spirit, written by my hand through divine reception, reads:
“Tolo ro nouhi, inishi bal la na asni o, okiri ono ma ashni o, mehenu, amana asi ishla toronee.”
Translated directly in the book:
“Spirit says: Look to the light—feel the light, be the light—you are the light, and the light is God, and God is Good, and you are good, and it is so. Amen.”

This sacred language, unspoken in the world yet known by the soul, serves as a bridge between the heart of God and the wounds of humanity.
A Guidebook for the Universal Rainbow Faith and Beyond
Now serving as the foundational sacred text for Universal Rainbow Faith, The Nature of Miracles affirms the sacred worth of all people—especially the marginalized, the outcast, the misunderstood. It declares that every soul is a miracle in motion, and that divinity does not discriminate.

In an era where transgender, non-binary, and queer individuals face systemic erasure and violence, this book offers a lifeline. It offers language for healing, rituals for remembrance, and daily practices for re-centering in the truth of who you are: sacred, seen, and supported by the Divine.

From Then to Now: A New Awakening
As we move deeper into 2025 and beyond, the recent re-release of The Nature of Miracles is more than a personal milestone—it is a spiritual alarm clock. We are being asked to remember. To realign. To trust again in what cannot be seen, but can always be felt.
May this book find those who are ready. May it stir the soul, soften the heart, and ignite the light within. For in the darkest times, miracles are not only possible—they are promised.

To the Skeptic, the Seeker, and the Wounded Believer
You don’t have to believe in angels, in miracles, or in channeling to benefit from what is written in The Nature of Miracles. The stories, reflections, and sacred language within it are not commands—they are invitations.
I never set out to “prove” God, Jesus, or divine communication. What I offer is testimony—raw, vulnerable, and true to my experience. I didn’t invent these moments; I lived them. And if I, someone broken open by life, could receive comfort, clarity, and healing from a force greater than myself—then I trust that same force can reach you, in the way that fits you best.
If you're a doubting Christian, remember what Jesus said in the Gospels:
“My sheep hear my voice.” (John 10:27)
He didn’t say only pastors, or only men, or only saints. He said my sheep. That’s anyone with a heart willing to listen.
If you believe Jesus can speak to the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, or appear to Mary Magdalene in a garden, or instruct a Roman centurion in a dream—then why is it so hard to believe He might speak to a transgender woman in Las Vegas in 2001, in the wake of 9/11, when the world needed healing?

If you're an atheist or agnostic, you are welcome here too. This book doesn’t ask you to suspend logic—it asks you to observe with openness. Many events in the book may not “prove” the supernatural. But if these things make you pause... if they stir something in your gut that says maybe there’s more—then that’s where the miracle begins.
Let this book be a guide, not to conversion—but to connection.
And so it is.
