The following Membership Criteria & Guidelines ensure that all members align with the sacred mission, values, and teachings of Universal Rainbow Faith, Inc. These principles affirm LGBTQIA+ inclusion, religious freedom, and sacred self-expression, while maintaining spiritual integrity and community harmony.
📌 ARTICLE I: MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Membership is open to all individuals and religious entities who:

Affirm the Sacred Teachings of Universal Rainbow Faith, including the belief that LGBTQIA+ identities, gender expressions, and personal appearance are divinely ordained.

Commit to Respect & Equality for all members, embracing a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, hate speech, or harassment.

Recognize Religious Self-Expression as a fundamental right, including:

Gender-affirming dress, pronouns, hairstyles, and religious attire.

LGBTQIA+ relationships and families as sacred.
-
Religious freedom in workplaces, schools, and public spaces.

Uphold spiritual principles of inclusivity, compassion, and self-acceptance.
🔹 Note: Membership is not limited by gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age, disability, or background.
📌 ARTICLE II: TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
1️⃣ General Membership (Individuals)

Open to all who align with URF teachings.

May attend services, events, and access spiritual guidance.

Includes both non-voting and voting members.
2️⃣ Clergy & Ministerial Membership

Open to those seeking ordination and spiritual leadership roles.

Must complete URF ministerial training and adhere to religious doctrine.
3️⃣ Affiliate Church Membership

Open to churches, centers, or spiritual groups aligning with URF’s teachings.

Must support LGBTQIA+ inclusion and sacred self-expression.
📌 ARTICLE III: LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION
🙌 Attendees

Individuals who attend services and events.

May donate or support URF financially.

Not considered formal members and do not hold voting rights.
💖 Non-Voting Members

Supporters who have signed the URF Membership Pledge and make occasional or one-time contributions.

Receive access to spiritual resources, newsletters, and participation in community events.

Do not vote in annual meetings or church decisions.
🗳️ Voting Members

Members who:

Have formally affirmed URF’s teachings through the Membership Pledge.

Make regular, identifiable financial contributions (e.g., monthly donations or annual tithe).

Participate in the spiritual life of the church.

Are eligible to attend and vote at the Annual Meeting and other decision-making gatherings.

📌 ARTICLE IV: RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERSHIP
✅ Rights of Members

Religious protections for gender identity, expression, dress, and pronouns.

Participation in URF ceremonies, sacraments, and weekly services.

Access to spiritual guidance, resources, and sacred spaces.

Eligibility for leadership, ordination, and service roles.

The ability to propose new initiatives or teachings to the Board.
✅ Responsibilities of Members

Honor the sacred tenets of URF in daily life and community involvement.

Respect all members’ identities and religious expressions.
-
Abide by URF’s ethics of inclusion, love, and equality.

Support the mission of LGBTQIA+ religious advocacy and liberation.
📌 ARTICLE V: MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE

Individuals: Apply via Membership Pledge affirming your commitment to URF teachings.

Clergy & Ministers: Apply for ordination through our spiritual training program.

Affiliate Churches: Apply through formal church affiliation agreement.
Membership is overseen by the Board of Directors and the Clergy Council.
📌 ARTICLE VI: MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION & DISCIPLINE
Grounds for Revocation:

❌ Discrimination, hate speech, or harassment against LGBTQIA+ persons.

❌ Misrepresentation of URF teachings or use of membership for harmful agendas.
-
❌ Rejection of core spiritual values, including gender inclusivity and religious freedom.
Membership matters are handled with compassion and integrity by the URF Board of Directors.
