Over the past year and a half, something much larger than a collection of blog posts has taken shape at Universal Rainbow Faith. It has become a living spiritual and historical library. From March 2025 through August 2026, the Universal Rainbow Faith Blog has grown to 110 published readings, exploring some of the most urgent spiritual, social, cultural, political, and human questions of our time.
These writings were not created simply to comment on headlines. They were written to document a moment in history. They ask what faith means when religion is used to exclude. They examine what happens when political power begins to threaten human dignity. They bear witness to transgender and LGBTQIA+ lives during a period of extraordinary public debate and legislative action. They explore war, peace, democracy, authoritarianism, spirituality, mystical experience, prophecy, art, music, film, history, healing, and the continuing evolution of human consciousness.
Some are essays. Some are open letters. Some are interviews. Some are theological reflections. Some are prayers. Some are prophetic writings and accounts of spiritual experience. Some examine films, television programs, music, history, or current events through a spiritual lens. Together, they form a record of the questions many of us are asking in 2026—and the questions humanity will continue confronting far beyond 2026.
To make this growing library easier to explore, I have also created a downloadable spreadsheet catalog containing the title, publication date, and direct link to each of the 110 readings. Readers can use it as an index, research guide, spiritual-study resource, or simply as an easier way to find subjects that speak to them.
1. Transgender & LGBTQIA+ Rights, Identity & Advocacy

This is the largest section of the Universal Rainbow Faith library, and that is not accidental. Thirty-three readings address transgender and LGBTQIA+ identity, human dignity, civil rights, healthcare, children, military service, gender diversity, public rhetoric, religious rejection, political policy, and the lived realities of transgender people.
These writings confront questions such as:
What happens when an entire population becomes the subject of political debate?
What happens when lawmakers, religious institutions, media personalities, or cultural movements attempt to define people rather than listen to them?
What happens when transgender children become symbols in arguments conducted primarily by adults?
What does faith require of us when another person's dignity is under attack?
And perhaps most importantly: Can society learn to see transgender and LGBTQIA+ people not as controversies, but as human beings?
These subjects matter enormously in 2026 because debates about transgender identity are increasingly being connected to healthcare, education, sports, military service, identification documents, public accommodations, religious freedom, parental rights, and constitutional protections. But these readings are also intended for the future. Years from now, people may ask: What did people say while this was happening? This collection provides one answer. It bears witness.
2. Politics, Democracy, Authoritarianism & Civil Rights

Twenty-four readings examine democracy, government, civil liberties, authoritarianism, political power, nationalism, free speech, constitutional rights, historical parallels, and the moral responsibilities of leadership. These articles repeatedly return to one essential question: What happens when power forgets humanity?
Democracy is not merely a political system. It is a continuing moral experiment dependent upon truth, participation, accountability, freedom of conscience, equal protection, and the willingness of citizens to defend the rights of people with whom they may disagree. History teaches that democratic institutions rarely disappear all at once. They can weaken gradually. Language changes. Enemies are created. Minorities become convenient targets. Facts become negotiable. Fear replaces dialogue. Power begins presenting itself as protection.
For that reason, these 24 readings examine not only specific political events but the spiritual psychology of power itself. These conversations will remain important long beyond any one administration, election, party, or political movement. The names change. The fundamental questions do not.

Universal Rainbow Faith was founded upon a simple but profound spiritual conviction: Love is sacred, identity is sacred, and no religious institution owns God. The nine readings in this category explore theology, spiritual identity, divine revelation, religious inclusion, scripture, religious freedom, spiritual teachers, miracles, and the evolving relationship between humanity and faith.
These writings ask questions many religious institutions have historically resisted:
Can revelation continue?
Can spiritual truth exist outside established doctrine?
Can different faith traditions contain pieces of the same Divine reality?
Can religion evolve?
Can scripture be understood through love rather than fear?
And can faith become a force for healing rather than exclusion?

These writings therefore approach war not only as a geopolitical issue but as a spiritual problem. Why does humanity repeatedly return to violence? Why do nations justify killing in the language of righteousness? When does defense become domination? What happens when ordinary people become collateral damage in struggles for power? And when will humanity finally understand that lasting peace cannot be created through endless cycles of fear and retaliation? 6. Culture, Media, Music & Social Commentary

Sometimes the greatest spiritual lessons arrive through unexpected places. A song. A television episode. A movie. A fictional villain. A dystopian story. A piece of satire. A cultural moment that suddenly reveals something about who we are. The nine readings in this category examine music, film, television, popular culture, artistic expression, and social commentary.
Works such as The Handmaid's Tale, Touched by an Angel, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shift, and even older animated stories can become mirrors reflecting contemporary society. Music can carry messages across generations. Stories written decades ago can suddenly feel prophetic. Characters created as fiction can reveal very real patterns of fear, greed, courage, conformity, hope, or authoritarianism. Culture is not separate from spirituality. Culture is one of the ways humanity talks to itself. These writings listen carefully to that conversation.
7. Universal Rainbow Faith Church News, Programs & Resources

The Universal Rainbow Faith Blog is also a record of the development of a new spiritual movement. Nine readings document church programs, Founders Day, religious-freedom initiatives, online worship, the Universal Rainbow Faith Blogcast, podcast development, ordination, community resources, and opportunities for spiritual participation. These articles preserve something especially important: the history of a faith tradition while that history is still being created.
Most religious movements are studied generations after their founders are gone. Letters are discovered. Dates are reconstructed. Early teachings are debated. Intentions become uncertain. Today we have the extraordinary ability to document spiritual history in real time. Future members, scholars, clergy, researchers, and spiritual seekers will be able to see not only what Universal Rainbow Faith became but how it developed.
8. Healing, Humanity, Memorials & Personal Reflection

Finally, seven readings focus especially on healing, grief, compassion, prayer, remembrance, rest, global healing, and our shared humanity. Not every spiritual question is political. Sometimes the deepest question is simply: How do we remain human in a world that can be overwhelming? How do we grieve? How do we rest? How do we remember those who have died? How do we continue loving when cruelty seems louder than compassion? How do we maintain hope? How do we heal ourselves while also working to heal the world?

Why Preserve This Catalog?
Because history is often understood only afterward. While we are living through an era, individual events can seem disconnected. A court ruling here. A political speech there. A war overseas. A new law. A protest. A film. A prayer. A personal revelation. A moment of discrimination. A moment of extraordinary courage. But when these experiences are placed together, patterns begin to emerge. That is one reason this archive matters. The Universal Rainbow Faith Blog is becoming a chronicle of spiritual consciousness during a period of tremendous social transformation.
Future readers may encounter these articles very differently than we do today. Some debates that seem enormous now may eventually appear astonishingly outdated. Some warnings may prove important. Some fears may pass. Some hopes may become reality. And some ideas that seem radical today may someday appear obvious. That is the nature of social evolution.
