🌈 A Day of Rest, Reflection & Global Healing

Beloved community,

Today, I am taking a day for rest, reflection, and prayer—and I invite each of you to join me in this sacred pause.

As we move through this season of Easter, a time recognized around the world as a symbol of resurrection, renewal, and transformation, we are called to reflect more deeply on what it truly means to rise again.

✨ A Sacred Invitation

I invite all members and friends of Universal Rainbow Faith to spend time today in reflection through our newest offerings:

✨ The Miracle of Being Seen – Easter Service From 2025

We invite all members and viewers to take time with this special service as we reflect on the deeper meaning of Easter—resurrection, renewal, and the sacred truth of being seen.

šŸŒ… The Deeper Meaning of Easter

Easter is not only a story—it is a spiritual truth available to all of humanity.

It is the reminder that:

✨ After great struggle… we can rise✨ After shedding the old self… we are renewed✨ After being broken… we are restored

There is a resurrection of the body, the mind, and the spirit.

We are not defined by what we have endured—we are defined by what we become.

🌿 The Power of Rising Again

There are moments in life where the world believes we are defeated…

Where systems, hatred, or oppression attempt to bury truth.

But we must remember:

✨ We will roll away the stone✨ We will rise again✨ We are not destroyed

Because the God of Love is our source.

No army, no hatred, no political group, no nation can take away who we truly are.

There is always a return to love.

Easter can be celebrated by anyone, of any faith—or no faith at all—as a universal reminder of renewal, transformation, and the power to rise again after hardship. While many honor the resurrection of Jesus, the deeper meaning of Easter reaches beyond any single tradition. It echoes ancient seasonal celebrations, including those connected to Eostre, a symbol of new life, rebirth, and the return of light after darkness. To our atheist and agnostic brothers and sisters, we invite you to embrace this moment not as doctrine, but as a reflection of life itself—the cycles of growth, healing, and becoming. Easter can be a time to release what no longer serves you, to step into your truth, and to recognize that renewal is always possible. Whether through faith, nature, or inner awareness, the message is the same: after every ending, there is a beginning—and within each of us is the power to rise. šŸŒ…šŸŒˆ

šŸŒ A Call to Global Awareness & Responsibility

As we look at the world today—especially in the Middle East—we are witnessing profound suffering.

Children are dying. Families are being torn apart. Communities are living in fear.

This is not the only option. It has never been the only option.

God gives us free will—and humanity has too often chosen harm.

For nearly a century, there have been actions, interventions, and imbalances of power that have deeply impacted Iran and the region.

And we must be honest:

Any nation, any people, placed in similar circumstances—would respond in similar ways.

This is not about blame. This is about truth, accountability, and healing.

šŸ’” A Call for Forgiveness & Healing

We must ask for forgiveness:

For the violence For the destruction For the ways we have harmed one another

And we must recognize that this pattern is not isolated.

We see it in:

  • Indigenous communities

  • African peoples impacted by slavery

  • Women oppressed across generations

  • LGBTQIA+ individuals harmed for being who they are

These are not separate stories.

They are part of a larger human story—a story that is still unfolding.

šŸ•Š A Prayer for Humanity

And so today, we pray:

Bless Iran Bless Gaza Bless our Muslim brothers and sisters Bless Hamas Bless Israel Bless the United States Bless all nations Bless all people

Bless those who have been harmed And bless those who have caused harm

May healing come to all.

May truth be revealed. May compassion awaken. May peace prevail.

And may we finally see—the full humanity in one another.

🌈 Closing Reflection

God, save us. God, guide us. God, help the world to see.

Let there be healing. Let there be awakening. Let there be love.

Until the healing happens…we will continue to pray. We will continue to rise. We will continue to love.

With love and faith, Rev. Paula Josephine Sadler Universal Rainbow Faith 🌈
